The solder part of the selector's sensor (Auto position) is in contact with the gearbox and shorting out.

The error occurs in the sensor part of Auto when it is attached to the gearbox, but the error disappears when the Kestrel is removed from the gearbox.

Please to remove the stick to cover the solder parts totally in purple circle,it may the solder parts contacting with gearbox to cause the shorting out.

Eshooter all engineers are working on it, it should upgrade in the early months of 2023.

The ETU can be upgraded online, we will inform this good news by email and media post at that time.

We recommend using it without the Active Brake at the first trying to avoid damage.

Compatible with KWA 2.5 gearbox:

The KWA 2.5 gearbox is not compatible with Kestrel ETU.

That 2.5 gearbox allows players to adjust the FPS to meet both indoor & outdoor requirements. These rifles have the cut-off function and work with cut-off magazines.

Compatible with KWA 2.5+ gearbox:

The KWA 2.5+ gearbox can work with Kestrel ETU. Please grind it carefully to fit Kestrel MOSFET. It has adjustable FPS functionality so it can work with non-cut-off magazines.

Compatible with KWA 3 gearbox:

The KWA 3 gearbox is not compatible with Kestrel ETU.

Compatible with KWA 3+ gearbox:

The KWA 3+ gearbox can work with Kestrel ETU. Please grind it carefully to fit Kestrel MOSFET.

Because of the gearbox constraints, there have electrical paths around the screw hole.

To avoid short circuits, we must use the soft insulation washer included in the INSTALLATION SET between the metal washer and the board.

The varnish and paint protection may break if long time lack of insulation washer.
